The modern lifestyles have made less time for household chores. The dishwasher is a new addition to kitchen appliances in the home. This is set up like an oven or cooker in the house. The setting for it is a slot that is left during construction. It is about two feet wide. The height is the standard kitchen work top. The granite work top spreads over the dishwasher. The kitchen cabinets are then laid out as designed. This are fixed onto a concrete plinth course about four inches from the floor. Once the cabinets are in place, tiling is done to the back space of the machine slot. This is a similar finish to the kitchen walls. The reason is that some home owners may remove the machine if not required or for servicing. The granite work top is then laid out over the dishwasher slot and the kitchen sink is then fitted.
