The gazebo layout should be done in the lawns. Sometimes the site can be located on a place like septic or conservancy tanks in the lawn. It can be done to camouflage the tanks. This should be done only on air tight tanks to avoid foul smells that may arise. Electrical, gas and plumbing systems should also be located near or within the gazebo. The walls can be made with bricks, concrete blocks, soil blocks or timber. This are done to a height of four feet.
The gazebo construction starts with marking out the circumference of the area. The excavation starts for the foundation works. After completion, the hardcore sub base is done and compacted. Concrete is then cast with a fall towards the entry location. It helps in draining off water. Concrete or steel posts are erected to nine feet height of the steel beam carrying the roof. The circular wall is then erected to a height of four feet in between the steel posts.
After the posts are in place, the steel frame to carry the roof is fixed. The services like water and power are then installed. The roofing structure is then completed. The roofing shingles are laid on the circular cone frameworks. The middle part is pointed upwards. It is important to put a lightning arrester and earth rods for safety. Benches and tables are then fabricated and fixed on the floor. Painting can be done with white wash or lime on the walls.
